Human Suit

To wake up wearing one of these human suits, on this extraordinary and diverse planet, is like winning the Inter-Galactic Lottery every day. The suits do require maintenance to keep them in reasonable operating condition, but even that is a joy. The built-in sensory inputs can, at times, be almost overwhelming. The audio, visual, olfactory  and tactile inputs can interact in surprising ways. Emotion and imagination functions are superb and limitless extras. Even the clumsy and unpredictable physical way the units interact is charming.

Sadly, the suits are not indestructible. Once irreparably damaged, they can not be re-used. For optimal usage, one should heed certain Earth adages: “Carpe Diem” and “This is NOT a dress rehearsal”.
